For years, Catherine has taken care of her father, a genius mathematician whose mind slowly unraveled. When his former student Hal arrives to investigate hundreds of cryptic notebooks, a romance begins to kindle—until Hal makes a startling discovery. Catherine must decide: how much of her father’s genius—and madness—might she have inherited? And who can she really trust?

Meet the Artists

SETH ANDREW BRIDGES* (Hal) returns to T2, where he recently appeared as the 87 year-old Alfie in One Man, Two Guvnors. Off-Broadway and NY credits include: Thomas in Alabama Story (The Actors’ Company Theatre); Harry in The Time of Your Life and Ashley Lancaster in Friend of the Devil (Attic Theatre Company, company member); and Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (NY Neo-Classical Ensemble). Regional: Orsino in Twelfth Night, Muff Potter in Tom Sawyer, Donalbain and Young Siward in Macbeth (Alabama Shakespeare Festival); Boy in Henry V (Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival), and Thurio in The Two Gentleman of Verona (Lake George Theatre Lab).  He holds a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

She has served as an actor at The New Harmony Project several times. She received her BFA from the University of Evansville and MFA from A.C.T.

JANELLE “JONNY” SCHREMMER (Claire) makes her T2 acting debut.  Her play The Ballad of Rusty and Roy (co-written with husband Troy Schremmer) was produced at the New York International Fringe Festival and developed at T2’s Arkansas New Play Festival in 2012. A recent transplant from New York City, she studied with Uta Hagen at HB Studio, acted with Theatre for a New Audience, Mabou Mines, Columbia University, New Georges, Six Figures, Mill Mountain Theatre and more. She co-stars as Coach Webb in Mike Akel’s Independent Spirit-nominated film Chalk. Locally, she played Calpurnia in Julius Caesar and most recently Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing (Classical Edge Theatre).  She is the theatre director for the NWA Prison Stories Project and on the drama faculty at The New School. She holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Texas at Austin.

SHANA GOLD (Director) returns to T2, where she previously directed 4,000 Miles by Amy Herzog, Underneath the Lintel by Glen Berger (2010), Neil Labute’s Reasons to be Pretty (2012), and the staged readings of True Story by EM Lewis and What God Had Wrought by John Walch at the Arkansas New Play Festival. Directing credits include: The Storyteller by Nathalie Handal (The Kennedy Center); Lameece Isaaq’s Food and Fadwa (New York Theatre Workshop); Goldor and Mythyka by Lynn Rosen (New Georges); Stanton Wood’s At the Pole (Urban Stages); and In the Crossing by Leila Buck (The Public Theatre and The Culture Project); and Spring Awakening (University of Arkansas). Her production of John Walch’s Circumference of a Squirrel received the Austin Critics Table Award for Best New Play and Best Director and the Austin Chronicle’s Top Ten List. Her work in new play development has also been seen at: Vassar College/New York Stage and Film, Epic Theatre, MCC, New Dramatists, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Theatre J (D.C.), Silk Road Theatre Project (Chicago), and Manhattan Theatre Club’s Sloane Series.  She is a director and teaching artist for Lincoln Center Theatre’s Education and Outreach program, Brooklyn College, New Mexico State University, NYU-Tisch, and Playwrights Horizons Theatre School. She is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab, the Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab, and a New Georges Affiliated Artist.
