Teen Council

The T2 Teen Council is a unique program designed to bring together 10 high school students from all over Northwest Arkansas who are passionate and motivated to learn about the inner-workings of a professional theatre.  Council members have the opportunity to attend productions and learn from professionals that are working in the field, while they work behind the scenes to make live theatre happen.

The T2 Teen Council will meet monthly from September through May (5:30-7pm, the first Tuesday of each month) where dinner will be provided.  The meetings will include play analysis and dramaturgy, visits with guest artists and discussions of productions.  If a council member is unable to attend a meeting because they are currently involved in rehearsal for a production, they will just need to let us know in advance.

In addition to the monthly meetings, council members will be expected to complete 40 service hours for the theatre over the course of the year (approximately 5 hours each month).  Service hours can be accumulated through such tasks as ushering, hanging posters, assisting in education programs for younger students, assisting with backstage tasks and completing artistic challenges.  T2 Teen council members who are in good standing will receive free tickets to TheatreSquared productions and a free T-shirt and other perks.
